render and bg are nice, nice details etc but i don't really like your brushes, they are to simple for such a great render.

2d at the background is ok.

~ the machine in chaos. the mood/tone is brilliant and quietly intense. [i'm not fond of the faded, white squares of the background tho'...they seem to detract from the menace and add a misplaced, sixties vibe. but that's just me.] over the ramparts!

normaly this is not my taste, but all in all this piece works very well.
